Design & Build Quality
The soft plastic lures are molded with a paddle tail that is flat and wide, creating maximum water displacement even at slow retrieve speeds. The material feels flexible yet durable, resisting tears from sharp teeth and repeated strikes.
The natural oils are embedded throughout the plastic, ensuring the scent remains effective even after multiple casts and fish strikes.
The natural oils are embedded throughout the plastic, so the scent does not wash off after a few casts. The included fishhooks appear to be standard offset shank hooks, suitable for Texas rigging or finesse presentations.
Overall, the build quality seems consistent with mid-range soft plastics, offering good value for the quantity provided.
Performance & Real-World Use
Casting these swimbaits is effortless because they have a balanced weight distribution that flies straight. The paddle tail starts thumping immediately with the first crank of the reel handle.
In clear water, the natural colors trigger reaction strikes from bass and walleye. In stained water, the bright hues still attract attention due to the vibration and scent trail.
The scent release holds fish longer, giving you more time to set the hook and reducing drop-offs.
One cast with a slow retrieve produces a steady, wobbling action that mimics a fleeing baitfish. The scent release seems to hold fish longer, which reduces the chances of them dropping the lure before you set the hook.
Changing colors or switching out a damaged bait is quick, and the included hooks pair well with most standard fishing rigs. This kit performs reliably across still water and moving currents.
Pros & Considerations
With 90 baits and hooks included, this kit delivers exceptional value per dollar for anglers who want a large variety without breaking the bank.
What Stands Out
- Massive quantity per dollar – getting 90 baits plus hooks makes this one of the best value packs for soft plastics.
- Natural scent infusion actively draws fish in and makes them hold onto the lure longer, increasing hook-up ratios.
- Paddle tail action delivers a powerful, consistent vibration that works for bass, trout, walleye, and crappie.
- Pre-tested color selection covers most common water conditions, so you do not need to buy separate packs for different environments.
Things to Keep in Mind
- Softness of the plastic makes the baits more prone to tearing after multiple catches, especially on toothy fish like pike or musky.
- Included hooks may not be top-tier quality and could need sharpening or replacing for extreme conditions or larger fish.
- No storage box is included – you should plan to keep the baits in a tackle tray or resealable bag to avoid melting or tangling.

Comparison With Similar Products
Versus generic unbranded soft plastic kits: This kit stands out because of its natural oil scent infusion and pre-tested color range. Many unbranded kits use generic colors without scent, so this kit provides a more refined fish-catching experience.
Versus premium brand swimbaits (e.g., Zoom or Berkley Gulp): Premium baits often cost $4-7 per pack of 10.
Unlike generic unbranded kits, this one features natural oil scent infusion and a pre-tested color range that enhances fish attraction.
This kit gives you 90 baits for roughly the same price as three premium packs, making it a budget-friendly alternative for bulk buyers. The action is comparable, though the durability may be slightly less than top-tier brands.
Versus other multi-pack soft plastic kits: Most multi-packs do not include hooks or have fewer lure pieces.
The inclusion of 5 hooks makes this kit a better all-in-one starter option for casual anglers who do not want to buy separate terminal tackle.
Buying Guide
Key specs to check before buying this type of product
Look at the number of lures, hook quantity, and specific color patterns included. You want a kit that offers variety in colors (natural and bright) to match different water clarities.
Also check the weight range of the swimbaits because heavier lures work better in deeper water or currents.
Material & build quality indicators
Quality soft plastics should feel pliable but not overly soft, with a clean mold line. The paddle tail should be stiff enough to create vibration but flexible enough to avoid tearing on the first strike.
Scent infusion should be oil-based and evenly distributed throughout the plastic.
Size, fit, and compatibility factors
Consider the hook sizes included and whether they match the lure size. This kit has hooks suitable for 2-4 inch swimbaits, which cover most bass and panfish applications.
When buying this kit, remember that heavier swimbaits are more effective in deeper water or stronger currents.
Check if the hooks are strong enough for larger fish like pike or musky – they may need upgrading for those species.
Budget and value considerations
This kit offers excellent value because you pay for the number of baits, not brand markup. If you fish frequently and lose lures often, buying bulk packs like this saves money over time.
However, if you prefer high-durability baits for heavy cover, consider buying fewer but stronger individual lures.
Best time to buy and where to find deals
Spring and fall are peak seasons for fishing gear deals, but this kit often remains competitively priced year-round. Check Amazon for occasional coupons or lightning deals, especially before holiday weekends.
Prime members may get faster shipping and occasional price drops.
